3.1) Introduzione
Le vostre pagine funzionano bene, avete inserito alcuni nuovi codici in HTML,
come tables, frames oppure backgrounds. Ma sappiate, il tempo vola via, voi
volete fornire alcuni servizi ai vostri clienti oppure desiderate creare cose più
semplici.
Esistono diverse cose che voi potete inserire e alcuni programmi utili dei quali
potete usufruire. Acuni esempi potrebbero essere: RealAudio il quale da ai
visitatori la possibilità di ascoltare in tempo reale la musica oppure la vostra voce,
una clickable map la quale è un immagine grafica dove i visitatori possono
cliccare su alcuni punti, i quali a loro volta hanno dei link per arrivare su altre
pagine oppure un mail programma il quale vi spedisce gli imput del visitatore che
ha compilato un modulo nel vostro sito.
Voi avete due opzioni: Creare i vostri oppure download scripts da qualsiasi sito e
installarli nel nostro server oppure chiedere a noi di crearle per voi. I costi sono
modici e ragionevoli e molti utenti hanno realizzato che si puo` risparmiare tempo
e incubi chiedendoci di creare i script.
Il nostro team dei programmatoric, HTMListi, graficatori e traduttori fanno tutto
possibile per farvi contenti. Se volete vedere alcuni esempi del nostro lavoro,
potete visitare alcuni siti che usano i script da noi creati, come per esempio:

Potete incominciare con piccoli programmi, come per esempio "wusage" per
controllare l`accessi al vostro sito o "cgiemail" per mandare tutto il contenuto di
un modulo tramite e-mail. Persino un libro degli ospiti potrebbe essere qualcosa
per migliorare il vostro sito.

3.2) Altre cose da implementare sono multimedia e opzioni
grafici che vengono sopporti dal nostro server.
3.2.1) RealAudio
e` un sistema di trasmissione audio in tempo reale. Dati audio vengono trasmessi
dal nostro server attraverso l`Internet al destinazione e possono essere ascoltati
immediatamente. Non bisogna piu` salvare un file sul disco fisso prima di
ascoltarlo.
Ogni audio-clip consiste da due file: una metafile con l`estensione .ram ed il file
audio digitale con l`estensione .ra.
Il file .ram contiene uno o due righe di testo ASCII che riferenzano il file .ra che
viene eseguito quando il file .ram viene accesso dal browser.
Il contenuto del file .ram ha questo formato:
pnm://vostro-dominio.com/rafiles/vostro-dominio/nome-del-file.ra
Mettete i file .ram e .ra nel subdirectory "realaudio" sotto il vostro directory
"www". Potete contattarci se non esiste questo directory all`indirizzo
support@mercator.net.
I file .ram DEVONO essere inviati sul server in modalita` ASCII, mentre i file .ra
DEVONO essere inviati sul server in modalita` BINARY!

3.2.7) VRML (virtual reality modeling language)
Web pages are just that: pages -- two-dimensional text and graphics. VRML is
about changing all that. To quote the VRML Repository, "VRML is a standard
language for describing interactive three-dimensional scenes delivered across the
internet." They use "describing" in the technical sense: if you point a VRML
browser (or a Web browser with a VRML plug-in or helper) at a file containing
VRML "descriptions" of a scene, it'll render that scene for you in 3D and let you
move around in it and examine it from all sides and angles. More in a minute
about where you can get one of those browsers so you can try this for yourself.
VRML allows for the creation of virtual worlds with limited interactive behavior.
These worlds can contain objects which have hyperlinks to other worlds, HTML
documents or other valid MIME types. When the user selects an object with a
hyperlink, the appropriate MIME viewer is launched. When the user selects a link
to a VRML document from within a correctly configured WWW browser, a
VRML viewer is launched. Thus VRML viewers are the perfect companion
applications to standard WWW browsers for navigating and visualizing the Web.

perform. But it is NOT a tangible object, a thing to be had. MIDI is a
communications protocol that allows electronic musical instruments to interact
with each other.

for Netscape and Microsoft browsers that lets you listen to MIDI music as you
browse a web site. Over one thousand sites already have it...and hundreds more are
