Argentina: remote meetings relaxation
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, remote meetings of governing and administrative bodies of companies were allowed regardless of limitations set in company by-laws.
By virtue of According to the IGJ’s (the control body of commercial and civil entities with jurisdiction in the City of Buenos Aires) General Resolution 8/2022, remote meetings will still be possible for all legal entities until the 15th of October 2022.
After that date, remote meetings will be allowed only for companies whose by-laws envisaged such possibility for its governing and administrative bodies. The rest of the companies are therefore invited to meet physically or update their by-laws to provide with more flexibility for the meetings.
