France: Changes in registers and filing system
Further to the adoption of PACTE law (Law on Business Growth and Transformation) No. 2019-486 in France, company business registers such as The Trade and Companies Register (RCS), The Trades Directory (RM) and The Register of Agricultural Assets (RAA) in France have been replaced by a single national business register (RNE) as from the 1st of January 2023.
Going forward, all French company types (EURL, SARL, SA, SAS, SNC) must conduct all new formalities and filings online through the National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI). The previous platform, Infogreffe, will no longer be able to accept any new filings.
