Philippines: the deadline to enroll to the SEC Online Submission Tool is nearing
On 9 March 2021, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in its Memorandum Circular No. 3 series of 2021 introduced a new channel for submission of documents – SEC Online Submission Tool (SEC OST). All entities regulated by the SEC must now submit Annual Financial Statements, General Information Sheets and other reports through the SEC OST. The hard copy submissions as well as submissions through e-mail, mail, courier and other channels are no longer acceptable by the SEC.
All existing stock corporations have to enroll in the SEC OST until 15 December 2021.
