Registration of capital companies with the Social Security Institution (“SSI”) Notification System in Turkey
Turkey has introduced a new requirement for capital companies (i.e. joint stock company, limited company and limited partnership divided into shares) with local personnel in Turkey to register with the Social Security Institution (SSI) Notification System.
This development follows a change in the way public notifications are conveyed to private legal persons, whereby such notifications will be made electronically.
Registration with the SSI system must be completed by Turkish nationals or by foreigners who have obtained Turkish ID numbers.
