Singapore has updated SSIC codes
In Singapore, the Department of Statistics has recently introduced a new edition of Standard Industrial Classification (SSIC) codes to reflect the changing economic landscape. SSIC is the four digit code, used for classifying economic activities undertaken by registered entities in Singapore.
The new SSIC codes have automatically been amended by the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA) with effect from 30 October 2021. In case the new SSIC does not accurately describe the business activity of the Company, the SSIC code change has to be submitted to the ACRA.
