Slovak Republic: Change of Court Names in Bratislava and Kosice
Effective the 1st of June 2023 and following an extensive update of the judicial map in the Slovak Republic, some courts have changed their names, seats, district and agendas.
This has affected the cities of Bratislava and Košice in the following manner:
- For the district of the Regional Court in Bratislava, the Bratislava III Municipal Court (previously the Bratislava I District Court) will maintain the Commercial Register;
- For the district of the Regional Court in Košice, the Košice Municipal Court (until now the Košice I District Court) will maintain the Commercial Register.
Companies and organization units based in Bratislava and its surroundings, or in Košice and its surroundings, will need to amend business documentation accordingly.
