Turkey – Changes to Trade Registry payments for AGM applications
The Turkish Trade Registry has updated their practice regarding payments for application of Annual General Meetings (AGMs).
Previously there was no fee for submission of AGM documents, which include the relevant Financial Statement approvals to be recorded in the Trade Registry.
As of January 2024, Trade Registry implemented a statutory fee of TRY 1250. This extra fee will cover submission of AGM documentation to the Trade Registry, even if there are no agenda items that are subject to registration, as well as general preservation of documents and records.
