Updates on UBO Exemption Registration in the Netherlands
Companies that are 100% subsidiaries of the entities that are listed on the stock exchanges are exempt from UBO registration. If a BV or NV falls under an exemption, a communication to the KvK (the Registry) should be submitted informing them that the exemption applies to the company in question. If a Cooperative or a CV is directly or indirectly held for 100 percent by a listed entity, the entity should request that the exemption be applied by the KvK, presenting evidence that the entity is really 100 percent held by the listed entity.
