Philippines: SEC extends the deadline to submit contact details
The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in its notice dated 8th September 2021 has once again extended the deadline to comply with the SEC Memorandum Circular No. 28, Series of 2020. The Corporations, Partnerships, Associations and Individuals under the jurisdiction of SEC, now have time until 11th November 2021 to submit valid official and alternate e-mail addresses as well as cell phone numbers, without a late filing penalty.
Failure to comply with the new deadline and filing of the corresponding forms/notices beyond 11th November 2021 will result in an imposition of a penalty of P10, 000.00 (approx. EUR 170).
